Worship with us Sunday’s at 9:30 a.m.
Pastor Dan Turner
Pastor Dan loves people. His heart is for all to know God's love. That God’s people would constantly reach deeper into the Word, into prayer and in relationship with Him. One of Dan’s favorite passages in Scripture is: Philippians 3:13-14 But one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Pastor Belinda Turner
Pastor Belinda Turner enjoys teaching the Word of God in Bible studies as well as leading intercessory prayer with those called to stand in the gap for individuals, the Church, their community and the world. Pastor Belinda reaches out to the one Father God puts before her and loves the discipleship process of finding the hidden gems of the Lord. When the Lord brings vision she believes He will bring provision and wisdom to carry out those plans. This translates into some seemingly large undertakings, but these are exactly the things Belinda sees as the conduit for unity in the church and drawing out the greater things that will lead us to the great exploits God calls us to.
Steve & Nancy Blanzy
Steve and Nancy Blanzy were in on the planning stages of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship back in 1996 and were there for the very first service held in the ET White Auditorium, the first Sunday in October, 1996. As the congregation grew they were the second Elders appointed to Cornerstone. Over time both of them have helped in all avenues of ministry as well as the practical side of a working, thriving church. Steve and Nancy have three grown sons, two daughters- in-law and two grandchildren. They enjoy going on cruises and spending time with family.
Joe & Ingrid Chayka
Joe and Ingrid Chayka have been members of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship since its beginning in October of 1996. Ingrid has been active as a Sunday School teacher, Women’s ministry co-leader and Intercessor. Joe has been active in and leader of the Men’s Ministry. Joe and Ingrid have been serving as Elders for three years. They have watched as Cornerstone has grown and prospered under the loving leadership of Jesus Christ. The family is of great importance to the leadership at Cornerstone, as well as the leading in, through and by the Holy Spirit.
Karl & Linda Bolte
Karl and Linda Bolte joyfully belong to the family of believers at Cornerstone. They are grateful for the pastors, leaders and body which has provided for their growth and maturity in their relationship with Christ. Serving as Elders, Prayer Ministers and on the Hospitality team, they have been with Cornerstone from the beginning. Now a retired auto airbag engineer, Karl enjoys fishing and duck hunting. Linda prefers gardening! They both enjoy traveling and camping. They are blessed with three married children and six grandchildren.
Lucis & Anne Welch
From the very beginning of their marriage together, Lucis and Anne recognized that the wisest investment of their time, talents and resources was to invest into the lives of people, particularly into the lives of children. Since then, they’ve made themselves available to serve even the littlest members of the Body of Christ, and have chosen to keep the door of their hearts and home open to all who want a place to belong. Lucis and Anne are fairly recent members here in the Cornerstone Family (2013), but right away, they were encouraged to exercise their giftings and share their experience with serving God by serving people. From loving each precious baby in the nursery to teaching every energetic youngster the truth of God’s grace, Lucis and Anne, along with their family of 10 children, are thrilled to grow in a church who serves.
Chris & Chrystal Rathbun
The Cornerstone Youth Group meets on Sundays from 5-7 p.m. for ages 12 and up. Our desire is for the teens to be built up in Christ and to learn to build each other up. We do this by laughing together, sharing with each other, praying for one another and just hanging out with each other. We hope the youth learn to apply the Word of God and Love of Christ to all situations and circumstances in their lives. The goal is that they grow up to know the Lord and learn to share the love of Christ that they have been shown, ultimately living in the freedom of the cross.
Kingdom Kids will be using weekly meetings, projects, adventures, and annual outings as opportunities to know and understand each child, their story, connecting them with the Creator and His plan for their life. The goal is to see every child moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, and to realize their importance and potential in the kingdom of God.
It is important to help the children...
We are blessed to be supported and loved by the wonderful family of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
Kingdom Kids meets every Thursday night from 6-7:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship at 1100 Millville Rd, Lapeer MI 48446

“Whatsoever things are true,
Whatsoever things are honest,
Whatsoever things are just,
Whatsoever things are pure,
Whatsoever things are lovely,
Whatsoever things are of good report;
If there be any virtue, and if there be
any praise, think on these things."

Cornerstone is a special place where the presence of God is sweet and powerful and there is a spirit of Love in our church. The women there are so loving and giving and always ready to help each other and especially to pray for one another. There are many talents at Cornerstone (both men and women). There are many women who knit, crochet, sew, cook, bake, and have artistic talents, and they love to share their abilities and teach others. We meet on Tuesday afternoons to have fellowship and do whatever we might enjoy doing for a couple of hours. We are supporters of IRIS GLOBAL in Mozambique Africa. Iris is headed up by Heidi Baker and her husband Rolland Baker. They have a miraculous ministry where they have built a very large compound including an orphanage, school, medical clinic, athletic fields, gardens and much more. And they have rescued countless orphans from living in the garbage dumps. They have also planted a couple thousand churches throughout Mozambique. Our women at Cornerstone are lovers of prayer, lovers of intercession, lovers of the body of Christ. When one of us is in need, we never have to wait to see if someone is praying or coming with soup or a comforting word of encouragement; it is there. We feel so blessed to be a part of this church where the Love of Jesus is flowing so freely. We are always looking for new faces to come in the door, and I know you will feel extremely welcome here!

Men's Ministry and Prayer Group
We meet the first Saturday of the month for breakfast, a short devotional, and prayer.
Our vision is:
Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of another man.”
Isaiah 56:7 “For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Our focus is on these two.
We help each other with getting through everyday problems, great and small, and to help the young men become men of God!
This is a loving group of men, who care for one another and support one another as we help in serving the body of Christ in our church.
We encourage men, 12 years old and up to be a part of this group. Please come join us; it's fun!
Any questions, please contact Joe Chayka or Scott Cox.
